TAKE A SEAT

On the area of two parking slots the "take a seat" project was developed for the people living around the Gartenfeldplatz in Mainz (Germany). To increase the quality of the square and life in the neighbourhood this installation was designed. It gives an opportunity to seat, chill, read a book, eat a "neis" icecream, watch the children play at the playground etc. The plants in the back give a natural privacy screen, the umbrellas work as sun shading during the day and illumination during the night.
